Reem is from Jefferson City. She is 14.
Diagnosis: trisomy 18
Reem is always working hard to gain more independence and learning more life skills. She loves riding her bike, swimming, playing peekaboo, playing with bubbles, and walking around with her walker. She also enjoys interacting with people.
Reem had a quick visit or admission to MU children hospital in 2023 with respiratory issues. It was nice that the staff at the ICU were there waiting to see us. It just felt like you’re coming home to see your family after a while.
We’re very proud of her and she is such a joyful little girl.
