PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

Zimmer Communications is seeking a project coordinator to manage a variety of marketing and advertising projects between departments. The project coordinator will track and manage production of advertising projects for magazine, on-air and graphic design teams. The project coordinator will act as liaison between internal departments to maintain the brand standards of Zimmer Communications and Inside Columbia magazine while keeping up-to-date on the local community!

Qualifications

  • Capable of maintaining a variety of client accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Work well under tight deadlines
  • Graphic design experience is a plus but not required

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle traffic between sales, production and clients, tracking progress and updating clients as needed
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date client presentations and media kits
  • Track and monitor all production services for magazine and on air clients through email and phone correspondence
  • Communicate with clients directly regarding content of ad materials throughout development, acting as point of contact between the creative team and client
  • Review ad materials for accuracy and approve final copy of creative materials prior to publication
  • Conduct spec ad research on prospects on a monthly basis
  • Manage magazine ads and graphic design projects through the full life cycle
  • Work closely alongside Inside Columbia magazine staff to publish each issue accurately while adhering to deadlines
  • Track and report weekly revenue goals to sales manager
  • Create and monitor digital promotions
  • Manage database and compile data for prospecting activities
  • Learn and utilize MagHub software, CMS, Hubspot and Basecamp
  • Assist in front desk responsibilities occasionally as needed
