Hudson is from Ashland.  He is 7.

Diagnosis: VACTERL Association including scoliosis, bicuspid aortic valve, tracheo-esophageal fistula, esophageal atresia, bilateral radial aplasia/clubbed hands

Our family has witnessed and experienced both hardship and pure joy through Hudson’s life and medical journey. We feel strongly about sharing the narrative that we are better people for having him in our lives, and his life is filled with fun, ambition, and promise. Our own perception of disability has evolved immensely, and we hope that his story allows others to see the beauty of every life, even when it looks different from the average. Never underestimate the willpower of a child (or family) facing the unknown.

Today, Hudson is excelling in school and has learned to write both his first and last names. He continues to be obsessed with MIZZOU and Truman the Tiger, even dressing as him for Halloween last year. He still loves everything with wheels and attended his first Monster Jam. His current favorite activity is racing remote control cars! He’s a fan of the Chiefs, Travis Kelce, and Taylor Swift.  He loves listening to Luke Combs, Clint Black, and George Straight. His favorite movies are Home Alone, The Grinch, & Zootopia. He also enjoys playing soccer.

His parents are Jeff and Kristen Eller.
