Cassidy-Rae, known as “C-Rae”, was from St. Thomas. We lost her in 2025 at the age of 19.

Diagnosis: Cerebral Palsy Quadriplegia; Hearing impaired; Premature @ 30 weeks; Dystonia, G-Tube

Cassidy-Rae was known as the girl with the Million dollar smile.  For the many years we were blessed to know her as part of our CMN family, her smile always lit up the room. She was a huge Blair Oaks fan! She also loved history. She’d watch a war show, and then go to her iPad and look up the same information. She was very artistic, and loved her ceramics class. One of her biggest strengths was her social skills. She loved looking at photo albums. She also loved using her iPad, watching movies, swimming, and riding in UTV.

Her parents Renee and Nathan are so grateful for University of Missouri Children’s Hospital. Cassidy Rae would not have been able to live the life she lived, doing all the things she was able to, without them.
